Welcome to Calum's Ceilidh!

Hi guys! Welcome to Calum's Ceilidh. This is my first blog post so I thought I would tell you a bit about myself.

My name is Calum and I'm 11 years old. My hobbies are baking, drawing and photography. I have four brothers, James (14), David (8), Ally (5) and Fraser (seven months). My favorite animal is a wolf. I also like cars and animals. I am allergic to milk, wheat, nuts, and raw egg although I still do baking. I use gluten free flour and soya milk instead of milk and wheat. I'll post some of my favorite recipes eventually!

On Sunday we went to the new Free Church in Stirling because my dad (Andy Murray - the first and real one) was preaching and we went to one of dad's friend's for lunch. After lunch we went to their living room and one of their sons spotted a hedgehog. So me and him went out to see it and it just froze when he saw us. Thankfully I brought my phone with me so I managed to get a photo of it. My phones camera is really bad so I don't usually use it but this photo was really good!

I hope you enjoy all my posts. One of the newest things are loom bands. Me and my brother have started making them so I will have some tutorials up soon.

Thanks for reading!

P.S. Is it just me or does it look like Fraser ( right ) is taking that photo?

    1. It's the Gaelic word for a getogether in your house. People use it for another word for a night of Scottish country dancing even if they don't have Gaelic. From Calum (even though I'm signed in as mum!)

  4. Hi Calum, remember me? You visited me on Skye once and I cooked at the all age holiday but you were probably too wee to remember that. Your dad is coming to visit us next Monday and maybe when he sees where we live he might bring you all for a wee visit next time you are going up to Uncle Willie's house. Brilliant blog, looking forward to more posts and LOVE the photo of the hedgehog, however did you get so close to it? Lots of love Isobel McQueer
